Drew Smith, a native Texan, moved to Austin in 1995 to attend the University of Texas. Upon graduation in 1999, he worked for two years at a local nonprofit agency, during which time he learned about the local real estate market and general investment strategies.

Drew purchased his first investment property in 2001 and has continued buying and renovating houses since then. In 2005, he recognized the potential for other investors to benefit from his knowledge of the booming Austin market. That same year, he obtained his Texas real estate license and joined the Austin Board of Realtors.

Since joining the Davis Company in 2005, Drew has managed a large portfolio of (mostly out-of-state) investors and has placed dozens of clients in high-appreciation properties. His client list includes small, single-purchase investors and seasoned equity hunters.
