 Blackhawk began in 1997 and is the first and largest master planned community in Pflugerville. Schools

Pflugerville Independent School District is well known for its small town feel, with a focus on supportive relationships and an exemplary, well prepared curriculum. Students attend Rowe Lane Elementary School (PK-5), Kelly Lane Middle School (6-8) and Hendrickson High School (9-12). Students can walk to Rowe Lane Elementary from the community with nearby private schools including Century Christian Academy (PK-12) and Concordia High School (9-12), both a six-mile drive from Blackhawk.
